The RL-K1500U is a 3LCD laser projector rated at 15,000 ANSI lumens, built for large venues and outdoor projection where a bright, long-throw image has to hold up against ambient light. It delivers a native WUXGA 1920 * 1200 picture from a laser diode light source rated for 25,000 hours in normal mode and 35,000 hours in eco mode, and it drives a motorized F1.8–2.6 lens with 1.8* zoom across a projection distance of 1.21 to 17.04 metres.
Brightness is stated as an ANSI figure: 15,000 ANSI lumens. That is the headroom that keeps a stage, an auditorium, or an outdoor screen readable with house lights up or at dusk. A 3,500,000:1 contrast ratio with 90% uniformity holds the image even across a large screen. Three LCD panels carry red, green, and blue separately, so colour brightness tracks white brightness and there is no colour wheel.
The panel is native WUXGA 1920 * 1200, a 16:10 frame with extra height for documents and spreadsheets. It accepts up to 4K signal input scaled to the native panel and reads a wide range of computer signals, from VGA through WUXGA and Mac to 4K at 30 Hz input.
The laser diode light source is rated for 25,000 hours in normal mode and 35,000 hours in eco mode, which removes the lamp replacement schedule from a fixed installation that runs most of the day. The body is a fixed-installation unit with no built-in battery.
The F1.8–2.6 lens is motorized with 1.8* zoom, so framing and focus adjust from the control position instead of at the lens. The projector covers a projection distance of 1.21 to 17.04 metres, from a close boardroom throw to a long hall or outdoor screen.
The RL-K1500U is specified for large-venue and outdoor projection. Noise is 42 dB in normal mode and 34 dB in eco mode, and a 10 W * 1 built-in speaker carries programme audio for a small space without an external sound system.
The rear panel carries LAN, VGA in and out, RS-232C, HDMI, DVI, component video with sync on five BNC connectors, 3.5 mm audio in and out, wired remote in and out, and two USB ports, along with an IEC power inlet and a Kensington lock slot. This is the connectivity confirmed on the product body itself.
