Product Description
Product Overview

The ESP9000L is the 8,600 lumen body in the ESP range, with 8,800 lumens measured at centre. It uses the same 486 * 393 * 174 mm case and the same 1.2–1.5:1 lens as the two models below it, along with the same single-chip DLP engine at 1920*1200 on a 0.67 inch DMD in 16:10. The case now weighs 12 kg and runs at 34 dB rather than 30 dB.

Edge fusion and geometry correction are built in, so a wall of two or three units is blended on the projector rather than through a separate processor. It draws 460 W, and 4K 3840*2160 is accepted over HDMI 2.0 and scaled to the panel.

Key Features & Benefits
  • 8,600 lumens, with 8,800 measured at centre — both figures are kept as the specification sheet gives them, rather than averaged into a single claim.
  • Same 486 * 393 * 174 mm case as the 6,500 and 7,500 lumen models — the ceiling cut-out and the lens do not change when you step up, but the weight goes to 12 kg, so the mount and rigging are what to re-check.
  • 34 dB in standard mode, 27 dB in eco, on a 460 W draw — a booth or hall level of noise, so it belongs on a rear wall or above a grid rather than beside the audience.
  • 0.67 inch DMD at 1920*1200 in 16:10, compatible with 16:9 and 4:3 — 4K 3840*2160 is accepted over HDMI 2.0 and scaled to the panel.
  • Edge fusion and geometry correction built in — a two or three unit wall needs a second projector and an HDMI split, not a blend server.
  • Vertical shift ±50%, horizontal ±15% — generous vertically, tight horizontally, so the horizontal offset has to be designed into the mount.
  • 1.2–1.5:1 fixed lens, electric operation — zoom and focus from the remote or the control system.
  • HDMI 2.0 with HDCP on one input, HDBaseT, 3D-Sync BNC in and out, a 3.5 mm audio input, RJ45, RS232 on D-sub 9, a 12V flip-flop and two 10 W speakers.
Two Units on One Wall

Fusion and geometry correction are inside the chassis, so the second unit is simply a second projector and an HDMI split — no blend server, no PC left on site. 3D-Sync runs BNC in and out to chain the pair, HDBaseT carries the picture back to the rack over one Cat run, and the 12V flip-flop fires a screen or a lift from the same command.

Design the ±15% horizontal shift into the mounts first: side-by-side units need their positions set, not their lenses pushed to the stop.

Where It Is Installed

The ESP Series is specified for four venue types: Exhibition, Education, Corporate and Immersive Experience. 8,600 lumens is for the Exhibition and immersive end of that list — a hall with spill light from the aisles, a wall that is larger than one body comfortably fills, or an immersive room with several bounce surfaces.

Positioning & Lens

Throw ratio is 1.2–1.5:1, so mounting distance follows the screen width. Send the wall size and the distance you have, and the position can be confirmed before the order ships. Wider and longer throws for this body are listed on the ESP compatible lens sheet and are ordered separately.

Power & Environment
Power Supply 100–240 V AC, ±10%, 50 or 60 Hz
Power Consumption 460 W in standard mode; 0.5 W or less on standby
Operating Temperature 5 to 40 °C, non-condensing
Humidity 10 to 85%
Altitude Up to 2,500 m; High Altitude Mode must be switched on at 1,500 m or above
Laser Life 20,000 hours standard; 25,000 hours in eco
Ingress Protection IP5X
In the Box

A power cord, a VGA cord and a remote control.

Send the wall size, the mounting distance and the control system, and we will confirm the throw position, the lens and the port configuration before you order.

The interactive exhibits at the science museum use this 12,000-lumen 3LCD projector. Even on a 300-inch projection wall, the images remain vibrant with no vignetting, and the animations of dynamic exhibits are smooth and ghosting-free. Visitors don't experience eye strain even after prolonged viewing. The most impressive feature is the laser light source. We've been running it for 12 hours a day for over a month without any brightness decay. It's incredibly easy to turn on and off without warm-up, making setup extremely convenient. Initially, we were worried about heat dissipation with such high brightness, but in practice, the projector's temperature remains stable, and the noise level is low, completely unaffected by the explanations or interactive atmosphere of the exhibits.
