Product Description
Product Overview

This custom thermal and humidity-controlled enclosure is built to house an engineering projector in outdoor or unconditioned installation environments. Each enclosure is configured around the projector model, projection direction and site conditions supplied by the buyer. The enclosure is optional equipment and the projector is not included. Dimensions, weight and airflow are determined for the selected projector and confirmed after drawing approval rather than supplied as one fixed universal size.

Key Features and Buyer Benefits
  • Internal temperature control from 5 °C to 40 °C with 0.1 °C setpoint accuracy
  • Internal humidity control from 10% to 80% RH with 1% setpoint accuracy
  • 1,200 W heating that starts below 5 °C ambient
  • Cooling that starts above 30 °C inside the enclosure, with configurable thresholds
  • Dehumidification that starts above 75% RH
  • Internal heated-air device to help keep the projection window free of frost and fog
  • Outside operating environment from −5 °C to 40 °C and 0% to 100% outside humidity
  • Continuous climate control designed for 7 * 24 operation throughout the year
  • Dust, water and insect protection, with IP grade up to IP54–IP65 and confirmed per project
  • Replaceable air filter with a listed service cycle of 6 to 9 months
  • Multi-door access and a removable mounting platform for installation and maintenance
  • Project-specific materials, colour, optical window and monitoring options
Temperature Control for Projector Operation

The enclosure controls its internal temperature between 5 °C and 40 °C. Setpoint accuracy is listed at 0.1 °C. A 1,200 W heating system starts when the outside ambient temperature falls below 5 °C. Cooling starts when the internal enclosure temperature rises above 30 °C, and the switching thresholds can be configured for the installation. While the projector is running, the cabinet heating function is automatically released.

These values describe different parts of the control logic: the 5-to-40-degree range is the internal control target, −5 °C to 40 °C is the specified outside environment, and 5 °C is the heating trigger.

Humidity Management and Clear Projection Window

Internal humidity is controlled between 10% and 80% RH with 1% setpoint accuracy. Dehumidification starts above 75% RH. An internal heated-air device helps keep the projection window free of frost and fog, supporting a clearer optical path when external temperature and humidity change. The enclosure is specified for outside humidity from 0% to 100%, while the internal control system manages the operating space around the projector.

Outdoor Protection and Continuous Control

The enclosure combines temperature control, humidity control, dust protection, water protection and insect protection for continuous outdoor duty. Climate control is specified for 7 * 24 operation throughout the year. The source specification describes protection up to IP54–IP65, confirmed per project; the final grade depends on the actual structure and site conditions. The enclosure should therefore be selected and quoted against the installation rather than treated as one universal off-the-shelf cabinet.

Structure, Materials and Optical Window

The enclosure structure consists of an outer body, a supporting frame, a projector mounting platform and the functional climate-control structure. The casing can use 1.5 mm cold-rolled steel or 201 stainless steel, with a galvanized inner shell. Galvanized sheet, aluminium-plastic material or other special materials can also be considered according to the project. The exterior receives anti-corrosion, anti-rust and anti-static baked paint. Available colours include matte black, off-white, dark grey and army green.

The projection opening uses optical ultra-clear glass with 95% transmittance. Coated optical glass is available as an option. Replaceable dust filters are used at the air inlet and outlet, and the outlet includes a high-strength grille window. The feet and door structure are reinforced for wind resistance after installation.

Installation and Maintenance Access

A removable internal mounting platform makes projector placement and service access easier. Linear tilt adjustment is available up to 10 degrees, with a larger adjustment angle available as a custom option. The multi-door enclosure structure gives technicians access to the projector, filter and internal components without dismantling the full cabinet. The replaceable filter has a listed service cycle of 6 to 9 months; actual replacement timing depends on dust, insects, operating hours and local conditions.

Electrical and Control Configuration

The listed standard power requirement is 220 V, 50 Hz, single phase. The internal multi-function socket is available in 16 A or 10 A form. Export voltage and frequency versions must be confirmed for each order rather than assumed. The control system uses external, high-temperature and high-humidity signals with programmed internal and external air circulation.

The standard configuration can include a custom outdoor cabinet air conditioner, circuit breaker, high-volume fresh-air fan system, low-voltage long-service fan, DC switching power supply, high-precision temperature and humidity sensor, self-stabilising heating elements, internal-circulation dehumidification module, LCD display module and microcontroller temperature-control module. Final component selection follows the approved project configuration.

Optional Project Modules

Optional functions are confirmed separately and are not part of every standard enclosure. Available project options include:

  • 4G remote monitoring for live temperature, humidity, component status, historical curves and device location through mobile or PC platforms
  • An air-duct structure for projector models with higher heat output
  • Coated optical glass
  • Tilt adjustment beyond 10 degrees

The final option list is recorded in the approved drawing and commercial scope.

Customization and Ordering Information

Send us the projector model, projector dimensions, heat-output information, projection direction, mounting method, site temperature and humidity, local voltage and frequency, required protection level and any remote-monitoring needs. We will use this information to size the enclosure, position the mounting platform and projection window, prepare the drawing and confirm the quotation. Enclosure dimensions, weight, airflow and total power are project-specific and are confirmed after drawing approval.

Important Scope Note
This listing describes a custom projector enclosure. The projector is not included. Final dimensions, materials, protection grade, electrical version, option modules and delivery scope are confirmed for each project and recorded in the approved drawing and commercial contract.
